Solifugae, Camel Spiders

The Solifugae are an order of their own. Although non-biologists are prone to confuse them with spiders, spiders form a completely distinct order, the Araneae. The order Solifugae comprises over 1000 described species in 153 genera assigned to the following 12 families:
• Ammotrechidae
• Ceromidae
