On October 19, 2011, Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked Lohan's probation, sent her to jail, and set bail at $100,000. Sautner told Lohan that if she wanted to avoid any further punishment, she must complete 16 hours of community service at the morgue before her next hearing. Lohan posted bail a short time later and was released. At a hearing on November 2 Lohan was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail and 400 hours of community service. If she fails to complete the community service she will receive another 270 days in the county jail. On November 7 Lohan spent less than five hours in jail due to overcrowding.
In April 2011, it was announced that Lohan had signed on to appear opposite John Travolta in the movie Gotti: Three Generations. She was cast to play Kim Gotti, wife of New York City mobster John Gotti Jr.. As of August 2011, Lohan's press representative said that no agreement for her to appear had been reached. Lohan is also set to appear in Mob Street from the same production team, based on a screenplay by Chazz Palminteri. Lohan appeared in the January/February 2012 issue of Playboy magazine. Hugh Hefner described the shoot as being inspired by a nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe which was in first issue of Playboy. Hefner said in a tweet that the issue was "breaking sales records."
