Jen Selter is Jewish and has a step-brother living near Jerusalem.
Thanks to her photos in which she poses everywhere from the subway to the pool – all while emphasizing her prized posterior – She now has 3.4 million followers on Instagram. Her online fame has also earned her deals with fitness brands and a closet full of her favorite butt-bearing garment.
“I’m recognized wherever I am,” says the 5-foot-6, 112-pound girl, who, since joining Instagram in March 2012, has amassed more 1.3 million followers, including Rihanna, football player Terrell Owens and basketball star Amar’e Stoudemire. “I don’t really go to public gyms anymore just because it is a whole big scene when I’m there. I have around 300 or 400 pairs of leggings. People think I wear the same black pair every day but it's not true – I have like 100 of those."
