Roy Hancliff was born in Oxford, England. His wife Sharon moved to Altea, Spain in 1985 and spent 18 years there before finally coming to Canada in 2003. They currently live in a log house in the Okanagan.
He was always been interested in photography, now he has the time to dedicate to this hobby. His faithful photographers assistant namely his wife does all the research, descriptions, tags and responds to any comments on flickr page.
