Miss Earth 2010 will be held in Vietnam as per the memorandum of understanding on January 28, 2010.
Miss Earth 2011 was initially slated for Vietnam as per the memorandum, but later was officially offered to Bangkok (Thailand). Due to the massive flooding in Thailand, organizers decided to move the beauty pageant back to its original country, the Philippines.
