October 2010: Convergence in notebook/laptop functionality has become common recently. A notebook with a surround audio subsystem, whether 5.1 or 7.1, is already commonplace. 3D is also becoming a must on entertainment leading notebook. They come from Acer, Asus, HP, Lenovo and Toshiba. Whereas HP mini 210 has been provided with GPS.

The term "laptop" can refer to a number of classes of small portable computers:
