3D Characters By Teodoru Badiu

Teodoru Badiu is a Roman­ian born illus­tra­tor, char­ac­ter designer & 3D artist. He cur­rently lives in Vienna, Aus­tria. His incred­i­ble skills with dif­fer­ent media like 3D, vec­tor, 2D or mixed, helped him develop a unique graphic style.
Teodoru Badiu was born and grew up in the beautiful town of Sibiu, Romania. In the 1989 revolution, at the age of 23, Teodoru was wounded and brought to a hospital in Vienna where he had to stay for four months until he was able to walk again and go back home. After a short time, he came back to Vienna where he has lived ever since with his eight-year old son and his wife. Teodoru had some hard times as a foreigner, and it was not easy to learn a new language and start building a new life from scratch, but he did manage it at last. He was also able to follow his dreams and study art and design in addition to his day job, working in an iron foundry. Even when it wasn’t easy, Teodoru learned that nothing is impossible. He studied for Creative Media Diploma at SAE, in Vienna, and he is seeing his artistic aspirations fulfilled.
