Soap Flakes By Nathalie Stämpfli

Swiss born designer, Nathalie Stämpfli has cleverly designed two new gadgets, under the series entitled ‘Soap Flakes’ that prove to be both useful and very unique. With a very clever idea behind the design, Stämpfli has designed two innovative soap dispensers that instead of providing liquid soap, they turn soap bars into tiny little flakes. Of the two designs, one product attaches to the wall beside your sink and the other product can be placed in the shower, replacing your shampoo bottle.
Today, most of the soap we use is liquid soap, which contains a lot of water. Block soap instead is more concentrated and therefore has some ecological benefits: You don’t transport unnecessary water around. In place of plastic bottles you can simply use paper for packaging. The solid blocks can easily be piled and allow a greater space efficiency in a truck.
