Ray’s images were chosen for inclusion in the North America Nature Photography Association’s (NANPA) Expressions 2007 Journal, and were on display in NANPA’s 2007 Fine Art Exhibit (juried) at their 13th annual summit in Palm Springs, California. One of Ray's photos was also chosen for the alaskaWILD 2008 juried exhibit sponsored by the Alaska Society of Outdoor and Nature Photographers. His work is represented by Alaska Stock Images and is also available on-line from archives with Photoshelter.
In addition to being a member of ASONP and NANPA, Ray is a member of the Nature Conservancy, Natural Resources Defense Council, and the Sierra Club and is active writing letters to local and national political leaders in an effort to protect our natural resources and raise awareness of global climate change.
