2010: Taiwanese musician Jay Chou releases 'Hip Hop Air Hostess', a song on his album 'The Era'
2011: Kate Gregson (Brie Larson) on The United States of Tara becomes a flight attendant after she finds out that she cannot teach English in Onaka, Japan because of the tragic Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. She spends two days at the airport, and befriends a flight attendant who inspires her to apply.
