Bleduk Kuwu is a crater of mud (mud volcano) located in the village of Kuwu, District Kradenan, Grobogan regency, Central Java. This place can is approximately 28 km to the east of the city Purwodadi. Kuwu Bleduk is one of the main tourism attraction in this area. Mud containing salt is going out in regular intervals of 2 and 3 minutes.
Legend
Aji Saka legend also mentioned that the Bledug Kuwu mud volcano in Grobogan Regency was the place where the giant serpent Jaka Linglung appear before defeating Prabu Dewata Cengkar. Van der Meulen suggest, although not quite confinced, that Medang Kamulan refer to "Hasin-Medang-Kuwu-lang-pi-ya" suggested by van Orsoy in his article about Ho-Ling kingdom mentioned in Chinese record.
