She had her professional debut in September 2008 at the Prada show in Milan. In 2009 she graduated with Valentino from an advertising contract for a perfume. After the end of contract with IMG Models in 2010, she continued with Next Models (New York) and Ulla Models (Amsterdam). The photographer Terry Richardson photographed Horst for the Pirelli calendar in 2010.
Horst currently lives in New York.
