Nia Sanchez, Miss USA 2014

Nia Sanchez was born in Sacramento, California on February 16, 1990 to David Sanchez and Heidi Sanford. When she was seven years old, she and her family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. Her parents divorced when she was six years old and during that transition she briefly lived in Shade Tree, a Las Vegas women's shelter. Sanchez had previously competed and won Miss Citrus Valley, Miss Hollywood USA, and Second Runner Up in the Miss California Pageant.
